Drone videos

Choose your destination to see our drone videos

In 2017, we have started to venture into drone videography. Since then, whenever we travel, we aim to bring our drone to take stunning drone videos of beaches and other landscapes. Over time, drone videography has become our passion. Choose your destination right below to see more of our drone videos and we also invite you to subscribe to our YouTube channel.

"Switzerland offers many beautiful places, and we are pleased whenever our guests use their drones to produce films about Switzerland’s sights."

Drone regulations:

While drone regulations in some countries make it impossible or difficult to take drone videos or even fly the drone, many others countries, most of all island nations, have very relaxed or no drone regulations. Some countries, like Switzerland, even encourage drone flyers to take drone videos from their landscape, helping them to promote their country as a tourist destination. I like to refer to the UAV coach website giving information on local drone laws worldwide.

Drone equipment:

When it comes to our drone equipment, we had started with the DJI Mavic Pro, then switched to the DJI Mavic Air and currently use the DJI Mavic Pro 2. To check out our entire drone equipment, click here. Video quality has increased over time which you can see in our drone videos - have a close look. The DJI Mavic Pro 2 really has good video quality allowing us to take beautiful drone videos in high resolution. Only down-side is that it does not allow to take videos at 4K resolution combined with 60 fps. We hope the next Mavic Pro will offer that level of video quality.

Editing drone videos:

To edit our drone videos, we had initially started with iMovie. We know this may not be the most sophisticated program to cut videos, but is good for beginners. It does not offer that many tools and effects, but is also not too complicated. After becoming more professional by learning over time, we have just recently switched to Final Cut Pro to edit our drone videos. We are still learning, but slowly getting there. Have a look!

We are happy to hear from you
